Google L5 pay
Any inputs on pay bands for google non-technical roles? Recruiter shared the numbers below with me, seem low based on what I have seen on Blind.. Level: L5 (non-technical) Base: $155k Equity: $120k (4 years) Bonus: 15% #google#pay i have an alternative offer at $300K and want to check the extent to which I should push the recruiter. YoE - 12
Non-technical, then what’s the department? Do you have competing offers?
Get some competing offers. This looks low, even given non-tech.
Yea this is low for L5, I am guessing this is some strategy and ops role

Super low. Get a counter offer or be prepared to walk away... it also sounds more like an L4 salary since its nontechnical.

Yes, significantly lower. I may not have gone through the process if the recruiter told me the numbers earlier.
That’s pretty odd. I’d imagine a lot of the current members of that team were hired from mbb at your level. They can’t be all taking a big cut just to work at google...
Base looks in line. Equity might be 50-75% larger with good interview and competing offers. There should be also sign-up. Besides these, it would be hard to improve the offer at L5
Terrible offer, not worth it if google doesn’t match
Just got an offer for a L5 non-tech role also: Base: $155k Equity: $200k (4 years) Bonus: 15% Sign-on: 27k YOE: 7.5 Had a competing offer which bumped the equity up, but Google didn't match all the way.
It's low to the point of offensive. (If Mt view or SF)
