Which one do program managers and non technical folks select for their laptop preference at Google. In the link provided they have recommended pixel book or similar, but have Mac book air, Lenono X1 Yoga, Lenova X1 Carbon and Lenovo P53. #Laptop
I was going to say get a lightweight one if you are PM, since you will be running to a lot of meetings. But that was before Covid. No one uses Windows at Google unless you have a strong business need for it. So go for the Mac unless you really enjoy the Linux on laptop experience.
Why does no one use PC at google? Are MACs better than PC for tech professionals?
I don't work at a tech company btw
How about Pixelbook because they have marked it as recommeded. Also, I hope no one would question me if I go with Mac.
Don’t worry, MacBooks are very common at Google. Chromebook is fine too if you like it. But I feel it is too limiting being able to only run web apps.
Did you say pixelbook ... lol ... I think the only customers they can find for that shit are it’s employees ... 😂😂 who won’t get it either IMO ... go for Mac and be a happy camper
Why no poll?
Good point added one
Btw, definitely the Mac. Pixelbook distant second. Absolutely no to Linux if you’re not an engineer.
Pixelbook is fine for someone non technical. All of your work will be web based
Looks like it is Pixelbook Go and not the regular Pixelbook
Choose Mac or Linux. You won't regret either. Edit: for non-technical, choose Mac unless you use compute intensive Windows native apps (like 3D graphics)
