I have the opportunity to start interviewing. Which office is better? In terms of teams, compensation and perks. Also the living standards and such. I heard Dublin always has a housing problem now.
Google is Poland is hiring like crazy, more expensive part of the Europe not. Stop dreaming you will get an offer anytime soon.
Don't dream of google. Even if you clear interview then you'll get stuck in TM forever. My interview feedback got expired but i didn't got a team despite working soo hard during interview preparation
I agree Poland offices seem nice. I would take any of the three you can get, or the one you like the most. London is a very international city like New York if you want that. You should be fine anywhere on G salary. Team match often takes a few months so just be open minded and patient. Once you see a manager and team you like go for it.
Poll? Brexit really screwed things up in the UK, it's not what it used to be. Dublin has more potential imo, a Google employee shouldn't have any problems with the accommodation cost, feel free to DM me
Poll added. And thanks!
Definitely Dublin, although finding somewhere to rent can be a nightmare. If you're a SWE there are far more opportunities in Dublin than London.
Dublin is like London with lower TC and worse weather.
Dublin is bullshit, high rent, exhausted infrastructure, no better opportunities if you want to switch companies and even poor teams (especially for SWE).
Dublin and London have the same TC. Honestly it boils down to lifestyle. Housing in Dublin has gotten way better recently.
How did you get interview opportunity?
I originally passed phone screening months ago for a position in Poland but the position got closed. Then got contacted again to continue to on-site.
