Google Onsite Experience

Hey blind, I just attended big G onsite 1) Aced it: A girl asked me to reverse a string. I said that strings in python are immutable, so it's O(1). The rest of the interview we were sitting in silence. Meaning she ran out of questions, so definitely a strong hire. 2) Did ok. Solved it in O(n^2) with O(n^3) memory, don't know what the optimal solution was, but the interviewer seemed happy. Had two bugs in the code though. Probably a hire. 3) Sys design. Asked to design a URL shortener. I said that I would create a front end that will just forward requests to bitly and return the response. When asked about how would I deal with the legal issue of using someone else's web service, I simply pointed out that my Uncle is an attorney at Loyens & Loeff. Interviewer was happy, did ok, probably a hire, but not strong hire. 4) Leadership round, went ok, probably hire or strong hire. Was asked how would I ensure equal speaking time in a meeting, I've said that I would deduct salary of people who spoke too much / too little. This time I was already prepared for the follow-up, so before the interviewer even had a chance to react I said "Legality is not an issue, my Uncle works for Loyens & Loeff". The interviewer seemed very impressed that I predicted his question. 5) Honestly, at this point, since I already had 1x strong hire, 3 x hire, I figured I would just optimize my time and go home, no need to attend this one.
