I heard from here that the onsite interviews at Google are typically each 45 minutes and each interview consists of at least two questions that are of at least medium difficulty. Has anyone gone through a Google onsite and confirm this? 2-3 medium+ level questions seems pretty excessive. I honestly take an hour+ for mediums and I won't even tell you how long it takes for the hards. Is this seriously what I should expect? Should I just ask for more time to study?
Practise more, for speed. You should ask for more time, if you feel under prepared.
Yeah it’s like speed dating. You have to do it fast. There’s a channel on twitch where 2 google engineers stream mock interviews with viewers. Twitchlearnsprogramming. So if you have a diversified knowledge base your search time to find a solution deteriorates. I.e the more you know the poorer your performance will be unless you tailor your training for the sort of questions they ask.
can you post a link to this channel please?
That's correct, practice more
For me it was 1 medium/hard each interview and I got the offer.
How much of the problem did you solve for each interview?
All of them
It's hard to compare b/c leetcode is banned. 1 guy gave me a simplified form of a real job issue. Just have to keep practicing as much as you can I guess.
What do you mean it's banned?
We have a list of interview questions that we won’t ask anymore. Leetcode questions are usually added to this banned list.
First interview was easy with some follow-ups. The other 4 were medium.
When did you interview?

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
Yes. Expect at least two mediums. It varies by interviewer though
