Google Perf grades + bonus
What are the performance grades (meets, strongly meets, exceeds etc) at Google and associated bonus. if someone joins lets say feb 2019, will they qualify for annual bonus (15% of base) at the end of 2019? If yes, then would it be pro-rated? edit: TC: 230 yoe: 1.5

Its possible for 1.5yoe.
Definitely possible, but not common for new hire salary. OP must have had good competing offers.

I can't remember exactly. There is a multiplier for each grade, and then that is averaged over the 2 perf rounds. After that there is manager discretion and they can go up or down, and usually have a budget so that over all there is more money distributed than the formula dictates. These multipliers can change year to year as well. I think it was something like 1.0 for not evaluated 1.1 for cme 1.2 for ee, but those are based on my bad memory. I think manager discretion has a bigger impact unless you are pulling an S.
