Hi Blind folks - PMs at Google or folks who interviewed for Google PM roles, are all PM interviews generic or are there any role specific? Applied for a role at Google (not Google cloud) First time interviewing with Google. If anyone has prep material links, would be great if you can share. tc: 0 (laid-off) #google #productmanager
It used to be generic, but now they match you with a team before interviewing. The interview panel also consists of the hiring manager, so be prepared to answer role specific questions. Even for the general product cases, if u r interviewing for a certain role, better to craft the response to highlight your perspective and domain expertise.
It's not so generic these days. I should have a google writeup from when I interviewed a while back. You can dm me for it.
no, it's not generic anymore. rather more role specific now, so when preparing, keep that in mind. and for materials, you should get Product alliance if you're willing to spend on prep
You can get the same content on YouTube from channels like Exponent for free
So, no more design fridge for blind type of questions?
Following as I just passed the hiring assessment* *I realize that doesn’t mean I’ll necessarily move forward into the interview process but would like to prepare if that is the case.
Same but haven't heard next steps yet
Same lol
Can someone please refer me at Google? I saw a job that looks very close to what I have recently done.
What is this hiring assessment?
