I already signed the offer. Figure out maybe I can share the data point for you to help me review. Base: 125k Stock: 155k over 4 years Target Bonus: 15% base Signon: 20k YOE: 9 month full time. By the time joining will be 1 year No Compete offer...Got 120k base, 100k/4 stock initially and negotiate a bit. Is it bad? It's a pretty big bump to my current salary so I signed it. But I want to know this is a lowball compare to similar experience
Assuming this is for L3?
Ho nahi sakta
LinkedIn would have given close to 135k base and 200k stocks for new joinee. But it depends on interview and whether you are BS, MS or PhD
How much does Linkedin give for 1 yrs experience and BS ?
Almost equal to above numbers I mentioned
Not a lowball man come on...
Why did you leave your previous company if you don't mind me asking? Did they mention or ask about such a short tenure before looking for a new job?
Only during the initial HR call I think. They ask me why leave current company. I just say that I'm seeking more growth
I don't think Google will care too much about this
How did you negotiate another 55k stocks? Do you have a competing offer?
I ask them to give me a number first then told my expectation. It did go back and forth a little while. I don't have counter offer unfortunately
Your TC is about $190K. That’s a good offer
What do you have to do to hit target bonus?
Bro I don't know. Recruiter said most people can hit that standard though. I'm not sure
How'd you negotiate without a competing offer?
I just ask for more
How did you negotiate?
I ask them to give me a number first then told my expectation. It did go back and forth a little while/
