Google TV is a shitty product
I can only use YouTube and Netflix on my Chromecast Google TV. But whenever I play HBO MAX or Prime Video Or Peacock video, I just got infinite amount of errors or black screens. Do Google TV intentionally only allow its users to use YouTube and Netflix on its device????????

Definitely, My Samsung tv is still pretty new and works fine.
Just integrate TV equivalent of iOS in all smart TVs, let the consumer choose what they want

Google anything is a shitty product
Google TV is one a few good Google products. I have been using it in 3 of my TVs for the past two years. No complaints and still going strong. Ability to control with Google assistant is strong advantage
The Google assistant has never been able to ask my commands. My device is Chromecast. What is your device ???
I have 2 Chromecast with Google TV and one inbuilt Google TV
Apple tv
Apple TV is still such a strong product, even in the era of smart TV features getting commoditized. The average Apple TV app is worlds higher quality than alternative platforms.
