What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Does Coinbase let you work from anywhere? Where do I sign up??? Edit: I applied at coinbase lol gimme some of that goodness
Lol
Google 100%
Coinbase seems cooler / you’d learn more. Google is obviously a bigger name
Ya you’ll learn more at coinbase…more of bad coding practices.
Crypto is for speculation not long term investment
How did you get new grad jobs? Are you a Stanford grad?
I think being a previous google intern was rly helpful
Anything but Google
Can you elaborate on why?
Microsoft is just salty
Google is the IBM of this generation
Tbh, for early career I would actually pick Google because the code practices there are much better if you want a long term career in software engineering. The number of times I’ve seen untested spaghetti code nonsense at Coinbase is unbelievable. If you started your career off here you’d pick up on horrible practices.
Would recommend Google, you will learn much more from the established process that work well
For 5 years my team wrote 2k lines of code, not sure what can actually be learned?! I would recommend new grads to avoid big tech
For L3, I dont think remote is a good option
I was told that the office in NYC has a lot of people there, but I'm not sure about my team. Does that make a difference?
I see. You are planning to go to office. Make sure they have a seat for you
