I’ve applied to a few positions at X over the last couple months, and they send an almost immediate email (less than a minute, at any time of day) that sort of sounds like a rejection. Is it an automatic rejection? Or just a badly worded “maybe we will reach out” email? I realize the ones I applied to a while sgo and did not hear back about are rejections at this point. Here is the text: Thank you for applying to the Backend and Algorithms Software Engineer, Early Stage Project, X position at X, the moonshot factory. X’s hiring needs are constantly evolving, so as you evolve in your own career, we may reach out sometime in the future. Meanwhile, feel free to check out our latest news and learn more about X. For the “TC or GTFO” crowd, 410k.
It’s just a auto generated mail saying they received your application. It’s not a rejection email. Personally I would stay away from X.
How come?
Yeah, I am curious why you think so
Why being so sensitive? At least you didn’t receive a REAL rejection email from Google X (yet)
less than a minute literally would be automatic
