Hi, I completed 2 phone interviews on Nov 13th, with one question asked in each round. These two are algorithm questions but not found in Leetcode yet. I communicated clearly well, my thinking process and also documented them clearly in the doc, while writing the code. I thought I did above average, but they still asked for a 3rd phone interview. Is this usual, or does it indicate indecisiveness from the initial 2 interviews ?
You probably got 2 Leaning hires. A good rating in 3rd will clinch it for you. Best of luck
Hi, can you let me know, how hard is it to get a team match ?
You should work on getting to host matching before you start worrying about it.
More borderline than the armistice line between North and South Korea.
Hey! I was a Google intern last summer and was brought back for a 3rd phone interview. I'd say don't stress about it and just try to do really well on your 3rd. At least 1 of the other interns in my friend group of about 6-7 interns also had 3 coding interviews, so it's not super rare.
Thanks for replying. I heard Google also gives a guaranteed option of a team , if one would like to avoid a proper Host match. Is this option for everyone ?
Hi, I was asked only one question in each of the 2 rounds ? Is this usual or are interns asked 2 questions in each round ?

I and a friend was asked to do 3rds and we still got host matching. You probably didn't do as good as you thought. I got asked 2 coding questions in all of my phone screens.
Were the 4 questions typical Leetcode questions or something new ?
I don't know what you mean. They gave you a PowerPoint that tells you they're going to ask you some contrived question that tests you on data structures/algorithms. As is standard for any internship interview
