Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
How many first author publications in top CV / ML conferences (CVPR, ICCV/ECCV, Neurips, ICML , ICLR) are required as a rule of thumb for joining google brain or FAIR as a research scientist? Is having 2-3 oral paper better than having 10 publications as 2-3rd authors?
Just look up recent hires instead of asking here. Also, don’t just look at the raw paper count - look at impact of the papers, co-authors etc.
I can only second the advice of amazon: here you can get anonymous people posting any numbers. It is better to look it up yourself. And as you probably might know already, in such fields a lot depends on networking and the strength of coauthors and references willing to write you a letter of recommendation. Best of luck!
Gracias. I have not really thought how co-authors can be a strength. Thanks for the input!
