Anyone know the story? Notice that he was at the office at 11:30pm.
No job is worth your life.
Naive to think his job was the reason he jumped. Na most of these people work so much because other aspects of their life aren’t handled, not the other way around
Some people also work too much so that they don’t have the time to handle other aspects of their life.
This happened at Amazon a few years back. Only he landed on a balcony that was a few floors down and not the street as intended. Ended up in the hospital instead of 💀. This might start happening more often than they are ready for with all this forced back to the office and layoff stuff. I don’t know if people know this - tech workers aren’t the most mentally stable bunch at the moment and you’re pushing us instead of supporting us. Consequences will happen. They are coming. I wonder if they will start putting nets up like fox con.

"We just laid off your friends so now you need to pick up the slack around here, 12 hour days just wont cut it anymore"
I can already see the headline: “Companies reverse RTO decision as they decide it is better optics for employees to commit self-delete at home than at the office”
The word you are looking for is self selection
Doubt it.
RIP 🪦
How do they know he jumped and wasn’t pushed out
The articles state there were handprints on the ledge, therefore suicide. Be respectful, bYY. Someone felt so despondent they took their own life. This is not the time for AI jokes.
There's also cameras everywhere. So there should be no doubt about a potential bad actor.
All those google fanboys here should learn that google definitely isnt a paradise
