Google giving ~0% salary increase
Have a friend at Google and he was telling me today that folks who are getting an SI rating (Meets All equivalent) are getting a very minimal pay increase. One manager told him that they had a budget of $1500 for salary increases for 2 reports. That's $750 a piece, basically a 0% raise. He isn't sure if that's the same for O or T ratings, he thinks they'll be slightly higher. Not sure if it's company wide or that team is an outlier, though I've heard of other companies slashing salary raises this year. Google wouldn't be the only one.
