Hey. Just wondering if this was normal. My recruiter gave me a call for an interview prep for a google hardware job. They listed who I would be interviewing and I found it kind of odd who I would be talking to. Generally at MSFT(in my org) you go through mostly engineers and then 1-2 managers at most. My recruiter said I would be first interviewing with the hiring manager. Then my managers manager. Then my managers manager manager. Then an engineer. Then one more manager. Seems like a lot of management. Just wondering about now technical the interview will be, because most of the managers in my current org aren’t very technical as they have so many direct reports across multiple subsystems. My current position would map to an l4 at google. Appreciate the input.
What hw group or job? Silicon or system level?
System level.
Hi Op, Can you share a few technical questions they asked you? Thanks!

I don’t know about hardware, but typically for a SWE interview, all of the interviewers are engineers.
