Is the hiring bar at Google the same for all locations around the world? Can someone share info on this? Zurich > Seattle> California?

Google hiring bar does not exist anymore - at least in Cloud team. Basically , they are expanding and hiring in mass is only way to offer 100 new services every year. Other teams may chose to have a higher hiring bar. Globally the bar is same when applying for core teams.

So much misinformation. The bar is the same the difference is that if you get a strong rating across the board and want to match with cloud you skip directly to offer approval.
