Hi everyone, Reg Google interview I have been informed by the recruiter that the team is very impressed by the feedback (he said you will be a googler soon) but they are currently in a hiring pause and can't extend my offer for Q1 2023 and asked me to wait. Any suggestions? Can I ask for the offer letter with a joining date? TC 130K 4 year exp
I interviewed with google in 2020 had good feedback then there was hiring freeze then they reopened the role and asked for another interview then rejection just keep applying
Okay 👍
What was your interview ratings?
Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Secure a position if you are actively looking; they will come back with the offer if they want you.
Perfect👍
Role and org?

What kind of questions did they ask?
Yup, I got a call telling me the same thing today.
I am in team matching for 7 months now. Interview elsewhere for now.
For how long you can stay in team matching?
They say 1 year
Lol i love how they’re teasing you by saying you’ll be one soon but they can’t hire you for 2 1/2 months 😭 fuck Google.
They will cu_ck you as long as they please
I joined a few months back and the time from first recruiter reach out to joining was over a year (though "only" 6 months from starting to interview in earnest to signing offer letter) Cycled through sooooo many other hiring processes in that time
Just keep applying but still keep them in the loop of where you are. If you feel the role is great then just let them know you are open for future reopen. Also it good to ask what is the estimate reopen timeline. They might not share that but always good to ask -
Keep applying
