Hello , I recently gave my final interview for google of 4 rounds(1 googlyness and 3 coding). I messed up one coding interview, not able finish hard LC as interviewer asked me not use dynamic programming with dfs. Other 2 rounds i was able to give optimized solutions. Got the feedback after a week , saying they unfortunately they are not moving ahead with my application as scores are not up to the level that they needed them. When i asked the recruiter for scores, he mentioned that he didnât see the scores either, and just got the notification of the possibility they can move forward or not. Did anyone faced the same issue? Not sure where i went wrong and not getting the scores also didnât help .@google
Same lie that all recruiters from different companies do đ same exact words I received from Google, Amazon and Roblox. They convienently said they âdo not have access to score cardâ but in reality they know because they want to improve their hiring filter / criteria. It is just a good excuse to stop candidates from asking too many questions. They donât want to get involved with legal trouble. Thatâs also why they stopped giving rejection via emails.
Got a similar response - that recruiter doesn't know the feedback and only got the green light to move forward to team matching.
Congratulations! Can i know for what position you have applied
L5 - I am not holding my breath though. It's been almost a month and zero team matching calls. Considering their hiring slowdown I don't expect to get matched at all. And even if I do - then comes the hiring committee, which typically rejects a lot of candidates. I'll stick with the process to see how far I can get, but making alternative plans for now
So how many here got DP questions. Im scheduling my onsite but worried about this topic
I got a variation of dijkstra.
I got rhyme pattern
I'd say just move on. Not your day. Google has been incredibly slow and honestly it's just not worth it anymore lol
