You're killing your career coming to Google TC 280k
Google >>>>>>> most firms on resume to get an interview when you apply outside
DONT GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANTS
😩🍆💦
Google is good for prestige but not necessarily good for career growth. Additionally you are not paid at top of market.
My g offer was top2 out of 5 others. So idk what you mean
Don’t lie, you joined because of prestige. You also thought this will make life easier with H1B slavery on the side.
Google folks constantly looking for validation. Google is no longer the place to be. There are better paying companies out there in Silicon Valley. TC>>>>> google prestige
If they have Google on their resume, it can take them to anywhere
You get interview but still you have to showcase your knowledge and work. If you were coasting at google and working at some stupid side project you are not going to make big impact outside. Skills matters >>>> google prestige
Dude I’d love to have google in my resume, it literally opens so many doors and it is already a cool story to tell. Wtf is wrong with you
Google didn’t open doors for me that weren’t already opened by other top 20 tech jobs. The reality is that you’re not competing with 100 other engineers from top tech companies and having google puts you in the top 5, the reality is, you’re competing with 100 engineers, and only 10 of them have worked for a company the average person recognizes, and only 5 of those are even tech companies
The point of google is having a golden stamp on your resume. It’s on my resume. We in top tech know what Google is/isn’t, but seeing the G stamp is every recruiter’s dream. The prestige just gets you the interview, your skill gets you the job.
It doesn't need to be if you don't plan on staying for more than 3 years
What are the exit options of Google non tech program manager roles?
The high comp is meant to offset this lock-in risk. Just be aware of the trade off.
Not even trying to explain why?

Why are people from Google always looking for validation?
I'm just saying don't come here
Google just wants a cookie
