At how many yoe does google interview for l4? Currently 20 months of work exp and looking to switch to google when eligible for l4
Hahahaha
I interviewed for L4 hardware lead position, 18 YOE. Ended up rejecting offer.
Did you mean 18 months or years? Sorry but that’s a crazy lowball
No, years. And yeah, terrible low ball. Google is not ready to be serious about HW. Also, it took like 5 months for the entire process to conclude.
I had 5yoe and HC gave me L3
No shit, did you end up taking it?
Less than 3 years and it's usually L3, unless you are coming from FB, etc.
My third child is 23 months old.
the interview loop is the same for 3/4, leveling just depends on interview performance; was able to get l4 with 15 moe
If you have a PhD you get L4 for 0 yoe. Or you can consider a PhD worth 5 yoe
I was slotted for a L4 interview at 7 moe. There’s no real minimum afaik. Exceptions can be made for the right candidate.
You know it’s not enough experience when you count it in months 😂😂
I’ll just keep it in the post for a good laugh
This did give me a good laugh 😂
