I read that number of attempts you can make to clear Google interview is limited to 3 (on-sites). After that even if you clear the interview you are not accepted. When you clear the last attempt but do not join (HC approval - but no team match or offer rejection) does that count towards the 3 attempts? In other words is there policy about 3 attempts or 3 failed attempts limit.
No that's not what I meant. So if you clear your 3rd attempt but did not accept does that mean you cannot attempt anymore?
Where did you hear this 3 attempt rule from? Sounds stupid for G to skip talents because of this rule.
Well if the candidate already failed 3 attempts you wouldn't really be skipping talent xD
These are exactly the edge cases I need to think about during a coding interview haha.
never heard about this only the one application per year rule
string originalName(currentName); int attemptCount = 0; do { if (++attemptCount % 3 == 0) { currentName.swap(new RandomName()); } Google.apply(currentName); } while (!offer.isGiven() || !offer.isAccepted()); currentName.swap(originalName); return SUCCESS;
I hate do while loops
do while loop > for loop
any Googlers here know about this? It doesn't sound like most ppl are familiar with this rule

How can you clear the interview if you've failed three on sites? This makes no sense.
