BREAKING: Internal sources confirm another round of layoffs just hit emails at Tesla. For real.
Finished Google onsites recently. Was fast tracked through the process by referral and resume (no phone screen). Interviews felt like they went well. All LC mediums and easy with optimization follow ups. Interviewers seemed like they wanted me to do well. Recruiter said feedback was nearly all entered by EOD. Good news? Bad news? How soon will I hear back? (AWS Seattle tc 210 3 YOE)
Why so rush are u piped?
No but one of my coworkers was for no discernable reason
Can you share interview tips ? What data structures ?
There were no data structure but algorithms
Can you give an idea what kind of ques ?
It took me about 4 weeks to go from after on site to offer, need to team match and go through HC
About a month to verbal offer
Was this interview for L4 or L3?
L4
Did you receive a followup from the recruiter. Do you know how long it takes for first followup regarding feedback after interview?
It will take a couple months to complete.
To hear back with an offer? Seriously?
It depends but be prepared to be patient. Passing HC is the hardest step. At this point recruiter will look at feedback and see if your packet is worthy of HC consideration. That shouldn’t take longer than a couple of days. After that they’ll let you know when your packet goes to HC- usually about a week there. If you pass HC then the longest part of the process by far, team matching, begins. Expect it to take a median of six weeks but for some it can take up to the full year of eligibility, if it happens at all (fewer than 10%) of cases. Then you have comp committee- maybe a week or two there depending on availability and how hard you negotiate. Lastly every offer needs to be reviewed/signed by an SVP- is almost always a formality but it takes about half a week. So yeah, you’re looking at another 6-8 weeks, minimum. We take forever.
