So following up from an original post, for my onsite interview I got mixed feedback but the recruiter says it's good enough to proceed forward for team matching, and HC afterwards. I'm wondering what this means in terms of my chance of actually passing HC. And a couple of thoughts came across me as well such as Is this a recruiter negotiating tactic? Maybe to start to make me feel I can't negotiate high or something? I did notify them I'm willing to team match for 1 week prior to HC, and I have told them I have on sites for FB and Amazon scheduled weeks out (2-3). Thanks in advance for any advice.
Same process, and I pushed to HC and get down leveled. Funny. Pretty slow on team matching.
I see, so you skipped the team matching? There was an interested team within about 2 hours wonder if that means anything
No one skips team matching. You either go to HC first then team match, or team match then HC with letter of support.
Any update from google? I am in same position as yours....
If your feedback is strong, recruiter will send your packet directly to HC. Else, he will send it to team matching to have a team matched and a letter of support from the manager to strengthen the packet. I dont see this as a negotiation tactic as any delay in this current G process will make you drift towards other offers and then recruiter will not get the bonus if you don't join G.
Thank you, how do you know these details?
Just got my offer with G. :)
