I'm thinking since it's so early it's a rejection, thoughts? UPDATE: they called back, says she got mixed signals but enough good ones to team match and submit to HC. Is this a recruiting tactic to low ball me during negotiation? Anything I should watch out for?
Or that they are sending you to hc
Google is usually slow. In my experience they speed up with the process when they want you. Anyway, "only after 2 days" doesn't necessarily mean rejection.
That makes me feel better, but I'm expecting the worst now so I'm not so disappointed later... One weird thing is the recruiter is on vacation until Monday, so she said if I don't call back today we can't talk until Tuesday (5 days from now) is she going to make me anxious for that long? 😩
Toughen up; hardest part comes now. You have to be chill when recruiter starts asking you about numbers. If they sense fear or neediness, you get lowballed for sure. Good luck! 💸💸💸
Just chill op, I was contacted by my recruiter on the 3rd day after my onsite that my packet was going to be sent to HC
Ok, so quick call is better. Got it.
Good luck!
One of these: packet going to HC, waiting for interview feedback, asking if you are under deadline, rejection.
Keep us updated OP. Had an onsite on Monday and also waiting for feedback.
Wtf. No one is sleeping or what?
It might not mean rejection. If it was a rejection, recruiter will not email you saying that he will call 2 days later to give you the feedback. He will give you a call right away instead. The quicker he tells you about the rejection the better IMO. It might just mean that, he is anticipating to get the feedback from all the interviewers within 2 days.
She didn't say she will call 2 days later, I missed the call Wednesday (yesterday) she said if I don't get a chance to call, she will have to tell be next Tuesday. I was thinking if it was dnh would she have bothered or maybe she could've had some one else break the news. But I'm probably overthinking.
Why do they have to be so cryptic? Good luck op.
I’d guess the same. Like if you got all “no hire,” there isn’t reason to go to HC, so the decision can basically be determined within a day or so. If it’s borderline or even majority hire, it needs to go to HC. Alternatively, it could literally be just to touch base and say “hey, hiring committee is Monday and we’ll have your answer then” or “things look good and I want to know your salary expectations”
Thanks for the feedback, yeah guess I'll have to see
