Want to understand who decides level and comp numbers for a candidate: Does the recruiter get point numbers or a range which they use in bargaining with the candidate? Ex( 140 to 160 base 250 to 300k stocks etc) Does hiring manager and director decide level on ladder? Does offer review group decide levels and pay? Very confused and would appreciate any insight
Say you do ok during on-site interview and on the fence, does having competing offer help with hiring committees decision?
Ok but does the recruiter have a low to high range and haggle or is it one number they get which they just convey.
100% depends on your competing offers
Meaning they get one number which they just convey as messengers? Or do they actively try to cut down comp
Thanks DEA274 appreciate it
