If you are remote at google, what are the pros and cons? Can you still enter any office and grab food? Do you have access to buildings? Is the only difference that you don’t have a dedicated desk? If you are in office/hybrid, do you actually go in 3 days a week? #remote #google
yes to everything - last one is manager/team dependent
Are there free agile/hotel desks anyone can grab? Or would a remote-designated worker have to find a table in common areas like the kitchen?
there are probably certain desks allocated for ad hoc desk booking, but there are more than enough nooks and crannies you can work out of, as well as desks of those who don’t come in
All FT employees (remote included) have access to all buildings with the exception of a handful that work on secret projects. No problem to come in and get food.

Brother beaten severely as a kid. Doesn’t speak to dad at all now.
You have access to all offices if you are remote, except those that require special access. I do hybrid at google and actually go in 5 days and some team members come in once or twice.
