Google to Google [x]
Xoogler here. Quit last summer after a tortuous tenure that could only exist at Google. I'm currently in the final interview loop at [X] (spread out over multiple days to accommodate schedules). What are the comp and benefits - equivalent to Google proper? Same levels and job ladders? Is one awarded GSUs? Can [X] access my Perf and/or comp history? Does [X] have its own Perf? Any other advice appreciated. When at Google I was told to avoid [X] but never got a good answer as to why. This project is mega cool and useful if successful (i.e., the exact opposite of most all Google projects) and I seem to fit the bill perfectly thus far. Google TC: ~$530k (had I stayed till the end of 2021)

Not sure what is your questionā¦. But I heard from my friend that X is technically part of Google, so definitely they can access your perf review, your previous levels and TC etc. However, I donāt work there so I have no idea if thereās any change since I heard from my friendā¦
