Say good bye to that high standard for hiring!!
Are there even any software engineering jobs at data centers? Because they're building one in my city. My guess is no
Where’s your city? And I have no clue. I suspect more Dara center technicians than anything else
Columbus OH
Not a fan of your post content. Just because they are working in the data center they can’t be talented?
Not triggered, you’re just a douchebag.
How many times were you rejected?
Too many
Screw the bar, nobody cares about that. Are they going to keep the high comp? 🍆
Good question
Datacenters barely employ anyone. That isn't even a drop in the bucket in our hiring.
... it says tens of thousands will be hired in direct relation to the construction of data centers...
Google doesn’t hire employees at data centers. There will be a few temp construction jobs and a few contractors to keep the systems running.
What do you mean? Have you been to a data canter? Only people there are security guards, and IT technicians and a few power engineers. Most workers will be non technical contractors.
Google hiring standards are fine. So, OP is probably out of luck. The Data Center Operations technicians and engineers we hire are typically highly trained Navy nukes. Hiring bar for them is very high
