Anyone know how the companies compare for iOS dev? A lot of the goog engineers i talked to seem to indicate that there is a lot of process and that it’s super slow at Google. They also seem to use a lot of legacy code or roll their own libraries. However, on the other side i’ve heard goog has much better work life balance
Go to G
You pretty much summed it up. Legacy code and slow moving vs WLB

Come to Uber, it is a much better place for iOS devs than G and F. How is Microsoft? They have many apps nowadays.
Uber has no LA office and i want to leave bay eventually
