For a strategy & analytics professional with 4.5 YoE, is Google Financial Analyst (NYC) a better position or a Walmart Senior Manager II (Arkansas) in their Strategy & Analytics division, with the goal of pursuing strategy/ PM in the future. Also want to keep company work culture, brand name and future internal mobility to reach these goals in mind. Are you sure it’s sr mgr II, as per Walmart that’s quite a senior role, often comes with a large team reporting to you. Whereas by my knowledge, financial analyst is a junior role in google. I am not in a position to give advise on this, but choose wisely
Yes its senior manager II but it is an individual contributor role, has nobody reporting to me..

Again, Walmart culture in Bentonville is Sh%% with mostly managers from WITCH backgrounds who became full time and got promoted due to the lack of competition at some point. They brought their horrible culture from their sh** consulting companies. Bentonville is a boring and tiny place no matter how much they sell it to you.

Yes, they operate as a cult in Bentonville. They only hire people under them who they know would put up with their sh**. They are sitting here since forever and buying worthless properties all around the place hoping the real estate market will go up. All they have done is inflate the market quite a bit and made it harder for locals to buy any decent property. One market crash and its all gone.

Just try it. I had a friend who was visiting his homeland, and at the passport control was asked what he was doing abroad. (Do you really wanna tell imply your TC in a developing country?) He said he works at Uber. "Oh, you're a taxi driver? There you go, (stamp), have a nice day!"
