I heard the mass layoffs were over in June. Apparently the return to office didn't result in enough resignations. The current rif is allegedly 10% of csbd and 20% of gbd. I'm not sure if that's head count or budget for the cost centers. Don't worry though, executives are safe and sound They gave me (4 or 8) weeks + (1.5 x years of service) severance of full salary and benefits. The 4 or 8 depends on where you fall on the ladder (e13, e14+, etc). Blog posting: I'm taking the weekend off to get stuff done around the house. I'm going to think about next steps before looking for a new job. Does anyone have contacts in pharmaceutical companies, benefits consulting, or do you think I should look into other industries completely?
