I got a google offer but I don’t feel any satisfaction because the interview was so easy… the bar was definitely lower than most other companies I interviewed with. Is Google still the highest prestige company to work for to put on a resume or are any of the many high paying companies just as good? (Doordash, Uber, LinkedIn, etc.) the reason I ask is because when making a offer decision factoring in the prestige of a company is a major point to consider, and I’m wondering if working for Google still holds the same weight. Interested in hearing opinions. TC: 140k #Google #Interview #Offer #L4
like LC Easy level easy?
One of the questions was definitely LC easy with Lc easy follow up, one was an LC easy with a medium follow up, and another was medium graph
The medium followup was a recursion solution that with a hint from the interview I optimized it with memoization
Your offer TC at G was $140k? Are you non-Tech? Cause even Level2 makes more than that.
That’s current Tc
So what’s the Google TC offer?
Stop with this "prestige" dixk measuring contest already. Google is not and never was the pinnacle of prestige people here make it out to be. It's a good company, yes. But it's not without it's share of flaws.
a = good things, b = flaws there are usually 3 types of companies: a > b Google ranks num 1 in this quota a == b like meta a < b like amazon
But this is about prestige, and I would reckon all these companies are prestigious in it's own way.
Please share offer breakdown and location, thanks!
Please keep us updated
if you don’t have any other offer take it, this can open you more easy new job positions
Dude congrats!
❤️
This makes me feel safer about coasting tbh Imagine how much lower the bar will become for work quality
Second this
1st username checks out, 2nd doesn’t
What level and which org? L3/L4 in cloud get in as long as they breathe. But other orgs do not easily accept transfers from cloud
Pretty sure it was for L4
What is happening in cloud? So many hirings.

retake ur interviews and see what happens
It was more the format that was easy itself. I just had an interview call, then went straight to onsites which were just solving 3 questions in 3 separate interviews (plus googliness which I don’t count that). That’s such a small signal they had to assess me. I could have just gotten lucky with the questions but their format makes it extremely easy to get lucky.
What were you expecting? That’s the interview format of every company.
