Got invited to FB onsite after one week of joining Amazon
Should I give it seriously ? Should I quit Amazon if I get an offer this early ? Have already changed 2 companies in 2 years. Update : FB role : Enterprise Engineer TC : 190K YOE : 2
Why not? Fb TC and perks are usually much higher than Amazon. Also their process is fast, so don't tell them you're at Amazon now and don't report it when they do background check. You can tell you took a long vacation between the two jobs. Update to my comment: Just found out Fb position is not SWE, so changing my answer: no. Don't do it.
Would need to get a H1 transfer, so probably it will take around a month.

I was referred, but they reached out very late when I had already signed offer and got my visa transferred.

Very bad if you are SWE. Facebook guys can correct me but Enterprise engineering is not on the same track as SWE. They actually get down leveled one level at FB from SWE to EE. This will greatly limit your early career opportunities. If I were you, I would stay at Amazon.

Fb is offering you a bottle of wine when it’s really fermented piss. Stay at amazon for at least a year if you are gaining distributed systems experience.

Enterprise engineering is not same as swe as others mentioned.
If they offer you more why not. A less than a month or two gap doesn't need to go on the resume
Since it is a Enterprise engineer position, not sure about pay. Lets say if they match, what shoud I do ? It is more of a prestige than pay for me
