It’s the Democrats in the senate this time - they want to shut down the government unless they get a path to citizenship (read: future voters for them) for DACA recipients. http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/18/politics/senate-shutdown-votes/index.html
It is the Democrats fault for this fiasco, it is both their faults there has not been a long term budget passed for years and years. Both parties are incapable of working together for the most basic of governmental responsibilities.
It's actually Obama's last budget just being renewed yet again
Republicans created the immigration issue. The fault lies with them, not the Democrats.
Fuck borders, allow everyone in. Simple solution.
What's hilarious: this is extending the Obama budget AGAIN. After a whole year in office all Trump has been able to do budget wise is renew Obama's last budget over and over and over.
Does trump write the budget, or is there a part of the federal government in charge of that?
It's a joint effort between the House, the Senate, and the President. He's supposed to lead but has been unable to get the job done.
Good. I want the gov shut down. Last time it cost taxpayers $24B in 2013 over ACA debate. I want as much chaos as possible so those republican twats will get rolled in the mid terms.
A lot of people voted for trump for the sole purpose of creating as much chaos as possible. Burn the whole place down, amirite?
Republicans passed a temporary bill to keep the light on and Democrats won't say yes. I guess illegal immigrants are more important than American citizens after all.
Who cares. Libtards are welfare suckers. Democrats are starving their own base.
Shutdown is annoying but only gets serious once they miss a bond payment. Then all h*ll breaks loose.
Also - enjoy your marijuana while you can OP. The Keebler Elf is coming for your dank nugs!
Yeah I don’t like Jeff Sessions, Chuck Grassley, etc etc.
Lol republicans control all branches and somehow it's the democrats fault
RTFA. The budget bill may not get 60 votes in the Senate.
Republicans do not “control” the Senate, because of the filibuster. They don’t have 60.
