Looking for something new. I've done the startup thing 3x and would love to do more but need to support a family. Any thoughts on Senior Product roles that pay above $160k in Chicago?
You could try Groupon, Uptake or OptionsExpess.
Nielsen needs good product people and is trying to invest there, but I don't know if there are vacancies right now.
These roles exist at many companies. Indeed and Linked in. Try Grainger, Devbridge, HERE, Motorola, Uptake (mentioned above), Deloitte, McKinsey (depends on your travel expectations), etc.
Also, if you are specifically interested in MRO then you should check out Zoro. It’s essentially a small / startup-type company, but backed by Grainger. So, best of both worlds.

Can you clarify some details? How many years pf experience do you have in product (management? engineering?) How large were these startups? What are some of your key accomplishments? Without that knowledge, it is hard to say if you are being realustic or not. Typically, $160k for a senior product manager or even an emgineer is a little high in Chicago unless it is on a niche. Good luck to you.
I have 10 years of experience in product management. I am currently at my 3rd startup running a small product team. My previous startup, which I was at from the beginning, was acquired for over $1bn. I ran all mobile and desktop apps for my previous place for a few years. I have done b2b and b2c. I've mentored a number of junior PM's and am currently in charge of hiring all roles for my company's Chicago office.
And by "Senior" in my post I mean senior or director level or above.
