it's what happens when money is basically free to borrow and the fed has essentially put a backstop to all financial markets i'm expecting a massive market tantrum when fed even hints at raising rates, as the leverage and recklessness will need to unwind.. although who knows when that'll happen
This. The fed is printing money like crazy and the stock market is where it's gonna end up.
If rates go negative, the market will also fall. Their strategy only works if they can maintain rates in a narrow zone. If you think that can last, I have a bridge to sell you.
More and more people are getting into stock market thanks to easy to use apps. I think its not magic. After the gme news everyone including millions of new investors will be using stock market like they use whatsapp or other social media.
This doesn’t change the underlying value of companies though, so stocks are just overpriced? 🤔
By that logic stocks were always overpriced... People should realize now stocks are as much a collection of sentiment as they are a rating of a company's financial strength

You are a $10 billion fund. What are you going to do with your money? Bonds? Sit on cash?
It’s all going to blow spectacularly when the feds stop printing money.
Ok. Enjoy missing gains till then.
When will the fed stop? Never is my guess
Most of the market is fairly valued for 0% rates and massive growth. Only a few outliers like tesla have crazy valuations.
Japan has had 0% rates for decades, market only declined
@WeWork But if Japan had 0% rates for that long, then where did people invest their money?
