Does any one have any idea how much portion of green card sponsorship expense employee has to reimburse to Accenture upon resignation? #greencard
none
is there any agreement you signed up for?
Not yet. I read in the FAQ which says, "Accenture will require an employee to sign a payback agreement that states if employee voluntarily terminates his/her employment within 1 year from the date of USCIS approval for an Accenture-sponsored GC, employee has to reimburse to Accenture, upon termination, a portion of the permanent residency sponsorship expenses which were incurred by Accenture."
1 year is fine still.you can stay with them
what is your priority date ?
I don’t have the priority date yet. They are yet to begin the processing in current wave.
If you start on oct 2021 you will get your i140 by 2021 nov or in 2022
If you sign any contract, where if you leave within 12 months of the i140 filed date, then you need to pay 10k
If you max out is over 2 years it’s worth to stay in Accenture but less than 2 years I saw many people had to go.. as per cost, it should be applicable when you have 485 filed
You can ask for a salary adjustment to align with US workforce, it’s not much greener outside either
