What companies apply for green card right away without waiting for h1b ? In other words, what companies file for your green card on F1 Visa ? And on opt ?

After my first day. Maybe first two weeks? I initiated process (schedule lawyer call) on first day.
Stay away from Amazon esp if you are a new grad. They had a weird policy of not starting GC until promotion. Not sure if that's true now. Also, you can always negotiate this when you are negotiating your offer. Always bring this up!
That was dropped since Jan 2017. Now if you were not born in a back log country, they start the green card process even before you join the company.
but if you reach I 140 step(perm phase is fine) before getting H-1B, you will be in trouble, because F1 Visa is not dual intent. check with lawyer
No you won't because your employer is sponsoring not a family member. I've asked and my lawyers have said it's fine.
