Green card priority date
Just noticed EB2 India moved back from Mar 2009 in August bulletin to sometime in 2007 in the September bulletin. Sucks ! Have been here for 11 years, have house and kids. We are in bonded labor here. Thinking of other options , like moving out of the country. No amount of money is worth this. What are other folks in blind doing about this ?
Options include: Canada, Australia, NZ
And most of EU if you’re open to new languages
AppleK, what countries in EU have favorable immigration policies? I don't know how hard it would be to pick French or German, but if the journey isn't as rough as it is in the US, might be up worth an attempt

Sell your house and whatever profit you made, go for EB5 visa (if you are short of money, save for few more years...its only $500k) or stop crying like a bitch...either quit the job and move on to another country or shut the fuck up And btw we both know, no one is moving anywhere...

You would have to have been living under a rock not to know about the greencard queue. Yet you came and took the job. And now you complain.
Did u just come out of the cave? What were u hoping here? I have been here 10 years too but I don’t feel I am entitled to anything because I know when I applied for visa it was temporary and i could be asked to return. Seems like u only booked one way ticket out from India.. Edit: you are not BONDED LABOR.. bonded labor is what Indians are in Dubai or Saudi where their passports are held and they are forced to work 12 hours a day under excessive heat.. It’s cribbers and entitled Indians who screw up everyone..
Yes we were here on temporary visa. But when we all make decisions to come to a different country , we see historically what happens. If I had known there is going to be such a hassle in moving jobs , and so much uncertainty I wouldn’t have come here in the first place. I think many kids in India may be thinking the same now.
