Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
I just received an offer from Grubhub via email (scheduled to speak with the recruiter on Monday and will receive the offer letter after that). I interviewed for a Senior Frontend Engineer role in NYC. The recruiter mentioned on the email that since my current level is not senior, they’re going a bit lower on the amount offered. Anyway, here are the offer details. Base: $188,000 RSU: $209,000 (40-30-15-15 over 4 years) They didn’t mention about sign on or year end bonus. The offer looks pretty solid but wanted to get some opinion whether there’s room for more negotiation. Also, there has been some news that Just eats takeaway might want to sell Grubhub. So I’m kinda worried about that. I’m also waiting for a team match at Google (down leveled to L3), and waiting to hear back from Uber Eats and Walmart. Current TC - 160K YOE - 4.5 #engineering #software #swe #frontend
Solid offer
Good offer, choose wisely considering there maybe an impending recession on the horizon
How many YOE do you have? I have an offer too, base: 145K NYC rsu: 50k, with 3 YOE, and they said the same thing to me about downleveling
Update, this is a senior level position. Since my current position is not senior, they’re going a little lower on compensation.
Seems like a senior offer to me, if not then its really solid for se2. What's the vesting schedule for the RSUs? Never didn't hear what it is for that new RSU distribution (used to be 25-25-25-25, with quarterly vesting after 1 year cliff). Grubhub has pretty decent tech, good company culture and WLB.
How many YOE is this “solid” for? I have a pending offer for $140 remote at level 2, stock only a quarter of this….
Update, this is a senior level position. Since my current position is not senior, they’re going a little lower on compensation.
Take it
Did you take it?
All I’m gonna say is a company is not going to offer you a 300k offer if it supposedly going to shut down or in trouble, it’s not as bad as people are making it seem. That’s a really good offer
