Any yearly bonus?
What country is this? Seems super lown
The kind of environment you get at Grubhub. This is a good offer. You can probably negotiate little bit more if you haven’t already. But they have a very good wlb and unlimited pto and teams are really friendly. I think you should take it if you want wlb.
How much more can I ask? Could you share the range?
I will echo this. I recently joined as sr specifically cause I wanted a place with decent pay and good wlb. The wlb has been amazing so far - leave a little early on fridays, people on my team take 30+ days/year, tech is pretty solid and my colleagues are great to work with.
If this is for Chicago, it's a pretty solid offer. The stock is so worthless right now that the potential for gains are very high.
The offer is for remote. Any thoughts?
Remote but where are you located? Trying to calculate comp based on your location.
If remote this is a solid offer, WLB is good people are friendly and stack is solid. Also depends on where you want to live.
I recently joined also and have to say the environment is super relaxed as well as the people are incredibly nice. Obviously if all your chasing is money you could definitely get better offers, but Grubhub is the place to be if you want a balanced life with having the ability to do solid and interesting work! Also, for the remote factor that adds a lot of value to it!
I would advise against Grubhub. Its great and all, tech is definitely nice. But the company isn’t going anywhere unless there is an overhaul in the management. There has to be a reason sooo many people left recently. I did too. The lack of product direction is appalling honestly. Avoid this if possible
Do you think that autonomous vehicles becoming commonplace would change this? This would lower expenses for $GRUB I expect
No, i don’t believe so. As most of Grubhub orders right now are fulfilled by restaurants themselves. Autonomous vehicles will reduce costs for Uber eats and Doordash though. As they do their own deliveries for the most part. So autonomous vehicles being commonplace will hurt GH more I feel
I have an interview coming up for similar position, would like to get some insight about the process. Can I DM you?
