H1-B extension
Is it advisable to file H1-B extension in premium processing, given that the new rule of no RFE passed ? I am confused coz I have heard premium applications get more RFEs #immigration #h1b

The new rule hasn't passed and will never pass - there is no notion of it passing. Its a memo, basically saying 'look guys and gals, this is what we are doing'. The new rule is a memo, so it is at their discretion to enable it. The date was sep 11, but they don't have the field manual for this change yet . Think of field manual like instruction manual. So they've 'paused' it for a bit until it is ready.

Was in the same boat as you. Was waiting for a few months with no answer. Did PP, got an approval in 5 days.
Irrelevant to your question, simply do pp to reduce the scope of uncertainty in life. That 1000 dollar may not be worth penny pinching.
More than the money, I’m concerned if chances of RFE are higher in Priority processing
