H1B Amendment premium processing timeline
Fragomen is working on filing an H1B amendment for me to change the worksite location. They have taken all details they need, and will be filing the amendment with premium processing. I have a visa interview in India in 6 weeks. Is that enough time for my new approval notice to arrive? Please help. #fragomen #h1bpremiumprocessing #immigration

You need to be in the US when they file your amendment. You can carry photocopy of I797 approval notice when you go for Dropbox. You should convey your timeline to Fragomen. Also it's just a location update so perm is not required. Assuming there are no delays on Fragomen side, 6 wks should be plenty.
It might be tight. Fragomen usually take their own sweet time to file. USCIS will decide in 15 working days (3 weeks). You should get the physical copy before traveling (another 2 weeks).
USCIS says its 15 calendar days, including holidays..so it would be 2 weeks right ? I will keep looking for other appointments anyway, but for now its going to be 6 weeks. Also, OOC, I would need only a copy of the I797 for dropbox right ? I can get someone to ship me the physical copy to India later.
You need the original to enter US at the POE.
