H1B Dropbox appointment requirement (India)
Is this legit https://twitter.com/usandindia/status/1532195298843447296? It says going forward there’s no need to schedule an appointment if you are eligible for Dropbox stamping. Please lmk if anyone recently got stamped in India via Dropbox. Thanks
Old news, you still need appointment just that you can drop off at any location within India
It says you don’t need to drop your documents at the place where you have your appointment. Appointment is still needed.

My question is if you qualify for Dropbox can you just submit the documents at the nearest location without an appointment? There’a no appointment available on the cgi website at present
Related question, is it possible to select a different country for Dropbox with a much reasonable wait time? Assuming that country has less wait time of course. Canada/Mexico aren’t issuing tourist visa but there are other options
