I am in same boat and making a decision has been so stressful ๐. With premium processing gone there is a risk of employer not willing to wait till the approval and might retract offer. Its horrific to read about what happens after denial. Also asked about it on avvo.com and everyone told it is safer to join after approval.
Depends on if your work and studies/experience matches. If you have good skills which are not very common, I would go for it (not implying you should, just perspective). Believe in your skills & abilities, if they are for real. If not H1, covid or something else. Reality. March on we must.
Everyone getting speciality occupations
You mean reason for RFE?
Everyone gets that .. before making a jump you assume you got that
I donโt know the process. But can you not ask amazon to file this year based on your current lottery selection?
There is no lottery for transfer
Ok
Just go for it. RFE is common and expect one but you should be good. Joining a FAANG with proper documents ( attorney not messing up) with a US masters and relevant job should be good. And make sure to speak to your HM about alternatives in worst case scenario.
Even if you get RFE, amazon does take care of responding n regime if u have I-140.
Yes I am i140 approved
Take it, heard Amazon take care of RFE and even denial. What level did you got L5/L6?
L5
How does a company handle denials? Asking so that I could check with my future employer before committing to join on receipt .
Similar case! DMed you
Hey, I am in the same boat. My profile is program manager and I am planning to join Amazon on receipt as well. Don't want to wait for another 6-7 months for the approval. Really difficult to take this hard decision. When is your joining date?
May mid
You already filed your h1b? How many days does it takes to get the receipt back?
