Friends, My H1B transfer has been submitted to CSC on 9/12 and waiting for the result. The current company is treating me like they do not care. This offer is from one of the big company on west coast. Not having courage to join or resign on receipt. Thinking to at least resign but not sure how current company will react. Not able to focus on work and in constant stress. What to do? Shall I resign atleast and can take back in case if anything does not go as planned?
I am in same situation like you. But don’t resign. It’s too risky.
If you are too stressed out with your current job you can consider taking your PTOs before you resign from your current position
Friends, someone told me that status are updated in mid night 2:00 am around? Is it true?

Please don’t resign until approval. It’s just not worth it. Do the bare minimum 9-5 try to finish what you can. But don’t quit on receipt. If you feel really stressed just spend some time out, if you workout do that or go on a vacation for the weekends leading upto approval Remember no one cares about you except yourself. H-1b job switching is hard so patience is the key.
thanks.I am also thinking that way but sometimes got so frustrated with the current company so think to resign but again become apprehensive next minutes thinking what if? I see a light at the end of the tunnel in the hope of country limit removal for green cards. Someday we will get a green card and come out of this hassle.
Remember the big company on the west coast is waiting for you. I have realized imho that don’t hand over your happiness to someone else or tie it to something. You made it through, just wait for the good times to start.
