H1B transfer premium processing timeline
My receipt date was 5/24 (right before the long weekend). Yesterday I got an email saying that the case is in initial review. What is the typical processing timeline for the transfer cases? I’ve been maniacally checking the portal every few minutes! Is it common to get an approval in the second week? Processing at California center, and joining FB. Any guidance would be very appreciated! Thank you!

I am surprised that you got an email saying it's in review. I thought it starts with the receipt and then a decision.
My receipt date is 22nd of May and I am still waiting. Hope I don't end up with an RFE. Good luck to you!
Good luck to you as well! Please keep me posted if your hear something. I read other threads that they send out a lot of approvals on the 14-15th day. A lot of my friends applied earlier in the month of May and got approvals. So hopefully we don’t get RFEs just the waiting is very annoying

Senior Java Engineer. Bachelor and masters in CS. Masters from USA.
Can you travel out of country when requesting a H1 transfer ?
Yes!
Usually if you don't get rfe 8-10 days are ideal! After that I have seen most people getting RFE! Good luck! I applied last week of March, RFE after 12 days, still have not filed for response!
