H1B: Is it safe to join the new place with only receipt of the petition? Since there is no premium for transers yet.
Premium processing is back from Oct 1. So things should move faster.

It seems that ther are back only for regular h1b applications and not transfers.
I did mine. No issues. Do for it. Premium processing restarted but just for 2018k cases. They will open for rest of the cases too soon. If you do normal processing now. You can convert same application to premium once it starts.

If your sponsorship stems from an employer you consider leaving, think twice - verify new employer is willing to sponsor or just be transparent with the situation. Good luck
Do you have a choice? In the current situation, you can rule out changing jobs only after the transfer is fully completed
Yes i agree, there is no other option. But ig someone has gone through or knows of a worst case then i wont go ahead right. Thats the reason i posted this Q.
I changed jobs on receipt. My application is still pending. The only downside for me is I can't go outside the country until my application goes through .
