My leaves were offset against notice period and HR personnel called me to tell that offset will be against number of working days, so using my 15 days of leave I can reduce my notice period by 21 days. But in final settlement they reduced notice period by 15 days and deducted the amount for remaining 6 days. Communication was made over call so do notnhave a written proof. What are my options now? @standardChartered
Without written proof, I don't think you can do anything.... I suggest you focus on other things which will add move value to your life.

Hypocrisy of Indians
Leaves are mostly against calendar days not working days, as your salary is for calendar days. Not surprised at the full and final settlement calculation.
But HR personnel called and specifically told that it was against working days, else I would have happily served 6 more days of notice
